I watched that again over the weekend. When he is at the house negotiating with the kid (SJ) I could have sworn he called the kid CJ.

:eek:lol: :eek:lol: The kid was in Memphis, so that would seem to be 'in character' for CPF, correct?

Those buyouts have a way of making most people feel good. This is soooo like getting unemployment for 3-4 years. BUt I say he got us a NC and a lot of great early years so let him live it up for awhile. If he was smart he would stop trying to coach. All the other coaches who get fired just take the buyout and get theri chil on. Only Fulmer is stupid enough to not know when he has t good.

Don't worry. Athletic directors across the land are making sure that Fulmer enjoys his millions & gets his chill on at home rather than on their sidelines.

since somehow we got on the subject of phil is fat.....again....thought i would share this

my wife and i were at the bama game this year and 3 very attractive co-eds were sitting beside us. i was cheering as loud as i could...it was the first half and we looked really good...and the girls were looking at me like "why are you clapping and cheering?" one of the girls asked my wife, "That really fat guy in The Blind Side movie, did he really coach here? Was that really him in the movie?"

We just thought that was so hilarious

I'll go ahead and be the jerk that points out how it's kind of funny that you were talking about Fulmer and misspelled 'deity' as 'diet-y'.

Jerk. I was going to let that one slide. :)

Kneeland is waaaay worse.

No. The fat azz should have retired. he killed the program due to his laziness. somewhere there is a glazed donut shaking in its box right now with 11 other donuts all knowing they're going down in one setting .... paid for by MH.

I don't understand the hatred for Fulmer. He brought us the 9 best years of our UT football lives that may never be duplicated again.(I hope it is) If people are going top blame him for the drop off, and they should, they must give him the credit for the 93-2001 run.

I give him credit for the 2 Championship years.

Tell us about the glorious years 1993-1996 & 1999-2001. How many Championships should we have won those years? How many did he win those years?

any coach can appear bad if you say...well, except for the years x, y, and z tell me about what he did...

He brought up those 9 years. I asked him about 7 of the 9 he wanted included. (I didn't even mention Fulmer's final 7)

93 - 10-2
94 - 8-4
95 - 11-1
96 - 10-2
97 - 11-2
98 - 13-0
99 - 9-3
00 - 8-4
01 - 11-2 Best 9 years of Tennessee football in my lifetime that may never be done again. I'm not saying that it won't be but it will be tough. I love Coach Dooley and I hope that he can get us back there. I put the blame on Coach Fulmer for going 29-21 from 2005-2008 with two losing seasons(2002-2004 he was 28-11)But I don't understand the hate.

because they never sat thru the 10 years of Johnny mediocre ball. They never experience any other coach so its the cool thing to do.
