What was the embarassing, inappropriate chant at UT-Bama game?

Well it is official. hate does hate everyone. LOL

I would suggest that you speak to your family and tell them not to bury you in a sweater, because it could be hot.
I don't hate small children, they're quite useful. For example, their labor is one of the main reasons a pair of Nikes don't cost $350.

I'm just messing with you. Really though you shouldnt be as angry as you are especially towards God's little gifts. So do you plan on having children in the future? :)

No. I think that's one of society's main problems. People, such as myself, who have no interest in parenthood, have children because they think it's what they're expected to do. That just makes for a miserable life for parent and child.

No, I have issues with annoying little creatures blathering about hot dogs and mascots while I'm trying to watch the game. If I wanted to deal with that kind of nonsense, I'd stay home and watch Nickelodeon.

So, we can go out drinking but don't invite you to the familiy bar-b-que. Got it. Have some good friends like that too. Really fun to be around when I want to get my drink on.

I have no problem with family bar-b-ques. They are the type of events that children should attend. However, until they reach an age where they can actually pay attention and follow the game, they've got no business in the stadium.

But see that's the issue, the successful accomplished adults who should have children do not or limit themselves to one or two children. On the other hand "adults" who shouldn't have children pop out half a dozen. Dilution of the gene pool continues.

First I'll preface this by saying that I don't have kids...I was at the game and had a great time...the F bomb may have been a bit over-the-top, but certainly effective given the circumstances...as far as bringing kids to the game, I think the younger the child, the more the parent has to realize that college aged kids will act like, well, college aged kids...alot of them drink before and during the games (some a bit more than others) and these types of things can happen...Also, young children have short attention spans...the kid that sat beside me was up and down the entire second half...he complained that he was cold, the seats were hard, he was hungry, he was thirsty...He didn't care in the least bit about what was happening on the field...IMO, kids like this should watch from home until they can sit through the entire game and enjoy...

Exactly the point I'm making.

Why should adult fans have to listen to a bunch of whiny little twits incessantly yammering about how badly they want some Skittles?
Apparently we view children through a different pair of classes.I really can't see such a petty thing offending you so much.I'm surprised.

i'm just confused. Like I said before, I had two kids around 5-ish directly in front of me. While I know they got bored w/ parts, I could've cared less what they were doing while the game was going on. I was just watching the game, how bout paying less attention to the kid in front of you and just watch the game. Let the kids do what they want. The way I look at it, they get an early appreciation for UT football, and they evidently get so whiny/sleepy/bored, that more times than not, the parents leave early in the fourth, which only gives me more room to move around and jump up and down when it matters. Bring the kids. Neyland stadium should be a friendly environment for everyone

I feel the exact same way about little kids in church and their parents who seem to think that everybody goes to church just to see their "cute child." If you have to pack snacks and toys, then you probably should not be bringing your kids with you.

:good!:

The worse experience I ever had was at a UT basketball game, this dad had his two young twin sons and they were sitting in front of me and they talked continuously for the entire game. The worse part was how they kept asking are we winning, every time anyone scores. I mean we were winning by about 15 and would score and they would ask if we were winning. Very annoying.

Most people would sleep through the entirte sermon if it were not for the distraction of watching cute kids in church.
