I want to hear from some of the salty veterans what sort of classes they put together and when/how they use them.
To start things off, I'll submit a couple:
A class I have used when I am lower level looks like this:
Primary: M16
Attach: ACOG sight
Secondary: LAW launcher
Lethal: semtex/tomahawk
Tactical: flash/smoke
Equip: claymore
Perk 1: Ghost
Perk 2: Hardline/hardened
Perk 3: Marathon
The long-range lethality of an M-16 is pretty under-appreciated. If you hit a guy with the full burst, even at very long range, he's dead. I use the claymore to help cover my back, and then try to get a good long sight line through a heavy traffic area. The marathon helps me relocate after getting a few kills to keep from letting my victims get an easy revenge nade.
Another class I use early on:
Primary: Olympia
Attach: none
Secondary: Makarov, or Python if available
Lethal: semtex
Tactical: flash
Equip: motion tracker
Perk 1: Ghost
Perk 2: Sleight of Hand
Perk 3: Ninja
I have to move from building to building and avoid long sight ranges- basically the opposite of the previous class- but on the right map against the right people, I can pile up the kills. It's satisfying to be using just an old 12 gauge hunting rifle, too.
My other classes require me to be higher level to build, but these two are good from almost the start.
Anyone else have any custom classes they like?
