Beats and Bose (all Bose products, for that matter) = decent but overpriced.

Try Sennheiser and Sony as well.

What do u wear for running/working out?

I stopped wearing earbuds when working out, I find it takes away from my focus.

I've owned 3 pairs of Sennheisers and they have all been well worth the money. The HD 485, HD 280 pro, HD 650. I don't think they make the 485 anymore though. They make a ton of models so do some research first.

The Shure SRH840 are really good too and they are $150 on Amazon right now. If it was my money, I'd get those.

I've looked at the Beats Studios and the Bose Quiet Comforts at Best Buy. I've really been considering purchasing a pair, but $299 seems high and I'm sure there are better headphones available for less.

Anyone have any other alternatives? I like the idea of noise canceling.

Ditto...I can't get into running/working out when I got music playing. Idk why it doesn't work for me.
