I don't know, they almost scored 14 points in the last 4 minutes of the half but only managed 7.

You're right though, it IS New Mexico State, but I'm going to pull for them regardless just because I have ZERO respect for Boise State..

How old is their QB Zabransky? Seems like he's been there for 10 freaking years and he looks to be about 30.

It's 27-14 Boise State at halftime. NMSU had a chance to score again right before the half but they don't seem to have a kicker causing them to try for the TD.

He's a senior there.

Boise State's just been on a ridiculous tear since Dirk Koetter started in '98. The Broncos are 86-21 since Houston Nutt left.

You can't count out NMSU. 11 minutes left in the 3rd quarter and their QB has over 300 passing yards. He could end up with over 500 passing yards.

Bad call against NMSU. NMSU stops BSU on 4th down but a BS roughing the passer gives BSU the ball back. BSU scores on 3rd down after 2 blown calls(a clip on 2nd and another clip on 3rd down) that weren't called in free space.

NMSU just got jobbed by the officials on 3 consecutive plays. :wacko:

Wow, the refs just totally screwed NMSU 3 times in a row and Boise State scored because of it. The fix is in.

I'll give the refs a pass on calls 1 and 3 . . . but how in the world did they miss the block in the back on 2nd down?

Roughing the passer-guy is diving low simultaneously with the ball being released and makes contact after the ball is gone(incompletion)

1st clip-Zabranksy is rolling out and a DE chasing him is pushed in the back in open space(incompletion)

2nd clip-same thing as 1st clip except the tackle dives at the back of the DL's knee(touchdown)

This is after the NMSU QB got drilled in the chin with the helmet of a BSU LB on a blitz earlier in the game on a TD pass. No roughing was called.

Exactly, you can't call one and not the other.

I can't believe I'm getting fired up about the calls in the Boise State / NMSU game..:wacko:
