I guess that should have been obvious. My dads dad was Greek and his mother was Italian. I'm pretty knowledgeable in Greek cuisine, but not very well trained or experienced with it. It's interesting seeing you post some of the dishes she/you prepare.
I never understood it until I got into the culinary field, but growing up my grandmother would make tzatziki but my grandfather wouldn't eat it. They were both stubborn. She always added tomatoes and basil, I think just to piss him off. I remember loving it though.
I'll check, hershey's bars with almonds, plain hershey's bars, doctor pepper, a crap load of cheese and crackers, pepsi, popcorn, iced honey buns, garlic salt :huh:, minced onion, marshmallow treats, eggs :clap:, he got some olive oil from save-a-lot after I told him that I needed to pick it out :banghead2:, and dog food

It just bugs me, he never thinks he does anything wrong. He won't even have a decent adult conversation with me about it either. It's always " well, what do you want me to do about it" or "shut up I'm tired of hearing it". I can't go off on him because then he complains to Granny and she jumps onto me about hid blood pressure.
