Okay, all kidding aside. I remember when Wilks was recruited, he was an outstanding HS athlete and he hardly sees the field. Does anybody know any inside info about his value or lack of it from the team?

Other than Special teams, he is a ghost.

GO VOLS!!

He has changed position more than Kordell Stewart, and much less successfully.

if he was an SEC level player he would probably have seen some action on our thin squad. I'm sure the position changes hurt a bit but he may stay on ST

would have been better served to play at MTSU or Chattanooga, schools along those lines. Just not an SEC type player. bottom line, lacks necessary talent level.

Has moved positions more than I can keep up with. I think he would have been better suited to have started out at LB and stayed there.

I got to see him at WR his SR year at Smyrna, dude was nice at WR. With out depth at WR that's where I would've kept him

I remember he was starting at CB on my NCAA 10 Vols Dynasty that played Michigan for the 2012 national championship.

I have heard two things. One he wanted to transfer and play jc ball and second (per his cousin) he cursed around Dooley and that's why he hasn't been on the field. True, I can't document. As much as I like the guy,as of now, I guess he's just too slow for the SEC (although as bad as we have looked at times, I think I could justify letting the waterboy play).

That is hilarious. Second I mean.

Dooley and Saban and Kevin O'Neill have something in common.

I am impressed, this is the longest Ive seen an attempt at a "serious" Rod Wilks thread last without it heading in its usual direction. Always hoped for a serious discussion cause the guy looks like an athlete and ESPN had him ranked as the 87th best player in the 2008 class. He'd have been out there by now if he had the talent, just not sure what the deal is.

On NCAA '11, in my dynasty's first season at Tennessee (2012), I played Michigan in the national championship game.

Does anyone know how much his weight changed?

I wonder if he added a bunch of muscle and lost the speed he needed to compete.

My question is, what will happen after Rod Wilks is gone???

Who is going to be Vol Nations NEXT Rod Wilks??? I know there is only 1 Rod Wilks, but who is going to fill his shoes once he's gone?
