'11 MI WR DeAnthony Arnett - UT Commit

The problem is, for the posters you listed that provide useful information, it's not as if they don't post info once they get it. They make multiple posts daily. So, stfu kindly and enjoy it. Probing for information that doesn't exist is not proactive, it's annoying.

I believe the misunderstanding is this: I don't "probe" for information constantly, if you read my previous posts, you'll see the explanation. I ask certain individuals for information when a recruit has not been spoken of recently. I completely realize that they would be posting if they had certain information; however, I don't see the problem with inquiring. After all, this is a public recruiting forum. I have already apologized if it comes off annoying.

In the big scheme of things, I don't think any poster on a forum should be here to please anyone. It is to share one's opinion. In this case, I've asked for information, big deal.

You should be stoned to death...the nerve! :)

I don't know why, but this guy kinda reminds me of that 2009 WR Je'Ron Stokes. He was committed to us for awhile before signing with Michigan if I remember. Arnett is about the same size as Stokes and both were 4 stars coming out. I was just wondering what people think about the comparison..Is Arnett expected to be a better/bigger impact WR than Stokes was or what?

I always remembered Stokes. I looked up his stats last year. He had something like 11 catches for just a few yards. He's not quite the stunner yet we thought he would be.

Is USC still in the race for Arnett? But good to hear about his visit. I still think it's going to be a tough pull.

We are pretty set at WR for the next couple of years, but getting this guy would be big. I would be fine if he is the only WR we get in this class.

Don't get me wrong I would love to sign Arnett in this class but it makes me question why we are able to get in on this guy but are having such a difficult time getting in on high profile DT's.

I dont really know why he is interested to be honest... but i believe he and Justice Hayes are friends who have talked about playing together in college, and are both interested in the SEC.

Last time I checked, we aren't having any problem getting on high profile DT's.

Check again. Last year we practically whiffed on signing a quality DT with the exception of John Brown. And if you look at our current commitment list for 2011, you will see a big fat goose egg under the DT column.

its june.

I think if we can get Arnett that we will take him and probably an average instate WR just for depth like a Zach Rogers or Todd Campbell
