Yes, we do, but realistically, that may or may not happen. Realistically, we may not get any. Nobody knows whether or not Markeith will commit here, and nobody knows whether Da'Rick will commit here. If we get both, one, or either, life will go on, and we will still have a stellar class. We're #7 without them, and we'll be fine if we don't get either. Get off Cody's back, he makes a good post.

No by your logic I would have said let's get BB since David Oku can't make up his mind. As I did once he decommitted more than once. From what I am told BB isn't as "rah rah" as a guy like Markeith and is supposedly a studious guy who is very religious, rather than the reports people were making because he couldn't stay committed to UM

Doesn't mean we shouldn't fight like hell for both of them though.

No. I didn't think that they were playing games with anyone. If Markeith is playing games with us, then I don't want him. I didn't feel that Bryce or David was playing games. Bryce just had to take time to evaluate the new staff, and David wasn't sure what he wanted to do either. If Markeith knows he doesn't want to go, and is just fooling with us, then yeah, I could care less to play along. If he is legitimately interested in us, then okay, come on. That's what I'm saying. I'm glad Bryce and David chose us, and if Markeith legitimately is interested, then the same to him. But it just seems like we're not as big a player in his game as it's made out to be. Just my opinion.

But we got both and what is wrong with that? I think Ambles is better than Rogers (not by much) but I would take either in a heartbeat. If we got both we would truly be WRU again.

Also we are assuming a lot about these kids. I remember BB came across pretty bad given all the drama surrounding him. People swore that we would be put on probation for signing him. Look he turned out to be a pretty good guy.


Edit: Brown not playing games? HA HA HA! This guy's recruitment is legend outside of these forums.

The only reason that he would come to Knoxville is to intercept Rogers and tell him he needs to go to UGA. I do not trust Kiffin's boy, Ambles.

And we are. Ambles is on his way to Knoxville and Da'Rick is probably getting an in-home from Dooley as we speak. Like I said, I want to land both. But if they don't wanna come, then they don't wanna come, and if they wanna play games, or if they're just gonna be a thug or cause problems or be a "me" player, then I don't want them. This goes for any player.

Thank You Outdors21..I don't see how anyone could say they could care less about Ambles..He is a great talent and would see playing time immediately. He once recruited for TN just as hard as Corey Miller did so I don't see why some are already writing him off..If he wants to come back to be a Vol then I for one would love to have him.

Yes I think Ambles really likes UT a lot. He is just unsure of the current staff. Also he has people in his right ear feeling him complete bull**** (Kiffin). This guy was a hero to most UT fans before Kiffin left, but the fact he is uncertain of the current coaching staff has made him into a thug.

Dude trust me if we got Rogers and Ambles I'd run down the strip singing Rocky Top backwards in summer clothes while its snowing. The fact of the matter is, Ambles seems to be doing it either for attention or some plot of X's to be a complete jackass as usual. Da'Rick isn't putting up Youstream videos playing Xbox referring to himself in the third person, isn't a USC fan, and isn't buddy buddy with Coach Richard Head, his geriatric father, or his Cajun **** buddy Orgeron. From what it sounds like everyone (Nance, Rogers, and Ambles) is coming to Knoxville in the snow, but I don't know what to believe

Ambles might have been waiting for CDD to get everything back to normal before visiting. If he wants to wear orange, great...if not we will pick up and move on.

Everyone keeps saying that it is CLK plan to have him come here and then to sign with USC on NSD. That may or may not be true, but as long as we are on conspiracy theories, what if Ambles went to USC to make CLK think he is going to sign with USC and then he signs with us? It could work both ways, at one time Ambles was recruiting for us as hard as anyone, he had some legitimate love for UT. If he spurns CLK and sign with us, I for one will be extremely excited to have him. Just a thought...

Not sure if this is the Flight that Markeith Ambles was on or not. According to U S Air, Flight 2325 was supposed to depart Charlotte at 5:51 PM and arrive at McGhee Tyson at 7 PM. That flight actually left Charlotte and according to their web site it actually landed at Knoxville at 8:25 PM. Now I don't know for sure if this is actually Markeith's flight. BUT, it is the only scheduled flight from Charlotte to Knoxville tonight. TIFWIW...go VOLS!

WORST CASE SCENARIO: Ambles gave Kiffy his Facebook username and password and he is messing around on his page like what he did with Nuke's cellphone when texting.

Who does 'SC have coaching receivers? I'm guessing it's not someone whose resume compares to Baggett's. So it makes sense that Ambles might forgo the beach for a better shot at making millions three or four years from now:

"Hmm, do I want to play for a weasel coach who would sell out his own mother if it took him to a better job, with the strong possibility that I may never get to play in a bowl game or have any of my games televised and knowing that the AD, coach, and who knows who else may all get fired while I'm there...Or do I want to play for a position coach who coached Randy Moss, Cris Carter, Plaxico Burress, Muhsin Muhammed, the guy who taught me, etc. and a head coach who seems to have some integrity, in the conference that has won the last four BCS national championships and has ten times the television and media coverage of any other conference? Tough decision..."
