The OL played SOOO much better today and the RBs ran with great vision. MH was a beast!

I think Crompton's picks are excuseable. The first was the result of a great defensive play. The second was in an attempt to score again late in the game, he was trying to make things happen.

Yeah, but that's not really the point. Because of JC's inability to make plays, we were one dimensional.

Great game. I never like a loss, but I'll take that. And kudos to Crompton! He wasn't great, but he was adequate.

I agree with you on Crompton. The INTs he threw were about the same results as punts. He got away with that throw away into the stands. G Jones ran out of bounds in the end zone and Crompton correctly threw the ball out of bounds on the next play. We have to remember he was playing against the NCs. He still throws into double coverage too much. I will have to say though, if we had a good QB we could have won the game.

Crompton under threw the first interception pretty badly regardless of what Verne said about Joe Haden "baiting" Crompton. You don't bait someone by giving them 3-yards when they're streaking down the sideline open.

Eric smacking him in the face. Everone wanted it and Berry delivered. I never saw a Teebow talk the entire game. Maybe he had a headache. Correct me if I'm wrong?

Much closer that I would have thought, and it wasn't because Florida played badly. Tremendous effort. Just glad we took your best shot and withstood it.

Great game.

Strangely enough it turned out about like the game I played on ps3 last night.

My only complaint with Crompton is that third down and 6 late in the fourth where he could have run for 4 and he threw it away. Almost intentional grounding. If you are not willing to run and take a hit, sit on the bench. :banghead2:

I have no idea.

In fairness to JC, the last pick he had to make something happen with 2 mins to go down ten.

People focus on the pick! Man I am talking about an offense that tried to run on 9 men in the box and that ran on 3rd and 23.

As a Gator did you not just thank God every time you watched Crompton drop back that there was zero chance he would throw a great pass?

I thought it was like a chess match between two good players, but only one had his key pieces. Kiffin and Co. put together an awesome game plan, but Florida still had more horses to get it done in the end. This searies is going to get way more fun in next couple of years.

:good!:

From any Gator, were you suprised that the Vols hung in there that long and never completely folded (like they did under Fulmer)?

Yeah Joe Haden's "baiting" maneuver wouldn't have worked if the ball wasn't under thrown.

Hopefully he wasn't one of those jumping off the top level of BHG after betting the house on this game being 30 point favorites.

A little amazing how an LG congrats thread gets turned into a bash Crompton thread. Get over it... it was a respectable game and probably more (based on posts prior to today) than what most people (both UT and FL fans) expected.

LG, good luck to the Gators (glad USC took a loss). You still have to work your way through the SEC so it's far from a done deal, but give it up to Tebow today... the guy's hard to bring down.

Eric berry player of the game over the heisman winner in a loss, that settles the berry vs. tebow discussion.

Good luck with your argument v.s. the Gator fans. They are claiming Tebow "trucked" Berry on that one play and "made" him miss on others.
