but he just almost had a heart attack defending Kiffin on the Boise State/Fresno pregame show.

not saying it takes back all the idiotic things he said about ND winning the championship and all that, but he wouldn't let Mark May get his ridiculous points across without grilling him and showing Kiffin some love.

I was just watching College Football Live and had the pleasure of listening to Mark May say that Kiffin sucks because of his 6-16 record as a head coach. Even Lou Holtz told him he was ridiculous because of the talent level at Oakland. I really can't stand that guy.

Quite surprising that Lou Holtz stuck up for Kiffin and the Vols.

I think I'm still in shock.

I managed to catch that at work and for once I actually liked hearing what Lou had to say....Mark May is a douche bag though, I've always thought that about him

Yea, I saw it. Ole spitball was showing us a little love though.

Old Lou was definitely sticking up for Kiffin. I would love to the Vols wipe that smug giggly boy look off Marks face.

Mark May acts like he's coached a team to prominence too much. Usually his points are valid, but he has such a jackass way of getting his points across.

Lou loves Monte, and he remembered Lane as a two year old running around in his office. Weird

Mark May does more damage to the idea that offensive linemen are brilliant than a thousand Kyle Turleys ever could.

Brilliant? How about typically brightest on the football field, on average.
