Every channel I turn to has someone saying something about the game Saturday. It's almost annoying. He really put us in the spotlight, whether people think it's negative or not.

I agree with above, you have to do something to get attention and hopefully get your team and fan base fired up.

Anyone notice that our own hometown sports shows do nothing but laugh at the Vols?

Heck, I heard a spot for TD BBQ today that went something like, "I'm not sure if the Vols will score a TD this weekend, but you're guaranteed a TD when you dine at TD BBQ." WTF was that???? Like I'm going to buy BBQ from a joint that doesn't even think the Vols will score this weekend? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight....

It definitely has worked to get us in the spotlight.

Sportscenter was talking about this game starting Tuesday.

Pretty significant considering the Mighty Jorters are playing a 1-1 team coming off a 5-7 season.

What is so funny is they omit the part where he said Mike H. made him say that. For all the Kiffin haters out there it sure hasn't hurt recruiting.

No matter what the biased idiots say on sportscenter, Kiffin has done an outstanding job getting this program turned around. Who cares if he said we will beat FL, what they expect him to say, "well hopefully one day we can be that good"?? come on who cares if he said we are going to win national championship!! I sure dont, give this guy 2 yrs with the guys he recruits we will be in the title game and top 3 in recruting every yr!!

I can see why guys like to play for a coach they can trust in. I know that Tebow is very fond of Cum. I really see the special bond with cum. Tebow is ready to give it his all for Cum. I do believe Cum goes to ND next year All top programs don't last forever.

The Vols are about to go 1-2 and lose for the fifth straight time to its biggest rival.

Yet, Vol fans are celebrating and calling their coach a genius. Bizarre.

Wanting to draw even more attention to a game where a once-great program is 30-point underdogs in a game is even more bizarre.

I'm stunned at how strong the Kiffin Koolaid is in Knoxville. I wonder if its effects will wear off by Saturday afternoon.
