how long did it take you to come up with this? college football is competetive by nature so how exactly is tebow wrong for saying and doing that stuff when emotion and competetive spirit is already ingrained into the game in the first place.

i know people like to find shortcomings with tebow but geez.....

Not only is Christianity not a competition, but you are saved by Grace through Faith and not by works. Ephesians 2:8-9. So nobody is perfect and not Christian is perfect. You need remission of sins through the blood of Christ and I am sure that is what Tebow believes in. To me he tries to be as good as he can be. I want the Vols to win Saturday like any Vols fan, but I have nothing against any Christian on non Christian on the Florida team.

The thing that has shocked me is with all the Gator fans on our board right now only one posted in this thread. Please go back to your regular scheduled posting because I failed to attract the Gators.

Dude, this is one of the silliest things I have ever heard! You clearly know very little about being a Christian. Trust me when I say I am as anti-Gator as they come, and I would laugh with delight if Tebow threw 5 pics against us Saturday. However, the guy is clearly one of the most recognizable Christian atheletes probably ever (can't beat Reggie White) and God has placed him in the position he is in with the sole purpose of being a witness for Christ. If you think Tebow saying that he is gonna beat some team bad is hypocritical, you should probably examine your own life first. I'll bet you ain't perfect!!! With that said, Go Vols and throw some interceptions Tebow!!!!!

I had a friend text me telling me about how this so called "tennessee fan" was questioning Tim Tebow's religion, or atleast how he's going about it. Now that I've come on here and seen your asinine remarks about Tebow just pisses me off so much. GmanTn... we are talking about a HUMAN BEING..... the only reason you open your stupid mouth is because of how he has performed and most importantly performed against Tenn. With that said, I'd like to say I'm a HUGE Tenn. fan. But COLLEGE FOOTBALL & RELIGION are 2 TOTALLY 100% different things. Just you trying to compare the 2 are idiotic and immature. Grow up. Let's say everyone on volnation all of a sudden questioned your religion... is that right? No. When the end of your life comes, there will only be 1 individual who gets to stand before you and judge you.... and if just by chance you have forgotten, it's the Lord Jesus Christ.
