The last thing we're gonna hear from JC is, "I'd like to give a shout-out to the e-thugs @ Volnation. 'Jes keepin' it real for the homers. Go Vols!"

CLK said Sunday on his TV show that Crompton is their starting QB and put as much blame on the staff as he did Crompton. I know thats more for the audience and JC confidence but I think JC will be the starter thru Ohio. If he performs poorly against Ohio then NS comes in as the starter the rest of the season IMO.

Many of you are saying that Stephens must be worse than Crompton if Crompton is starting. That might be true......ON THE PRACTICE FIELD!

Thats the thing...Once JC gets into a game with pressure on him he SUCKS. I am pretty sure Nick would not throw 3 INTs on consecutive possessions...Crompton just isnt right in the head or something when it comes to somewhat important games.

Call me a crazy dreamer, but I just have the slightest hunch that this weekend's game will bring out the best in Crompton & the rest of the team. I've been watching UT play for many long years now and have often seen it happen that when all the suposed "experts" totally count out the Vols like they are doing this week Tennessee usually plays well. That's not a universal truth but I can't help but remember the SugarVols game vs. Miami in '85.... NOBODY gave us a chance in hades of winning that game. Same thing again when we played Georgia two years ago at Neyland. Again with the 'Canes a few years ago... We've prven the experts wrong before and I'm just crazy enough to think we can do it again. This whole "revenge" angle (and the accompanying 28.5 point spread...) will blow up in Florida's face.

I love the line of thought but there's an ingredient missing.

All those UT teams you mentioned had SEC caliber QB's...this one doesn't.

It's a shame we won't get to listen to any of Crompton's interviews, they were so exciting and insightful.

What JC did in that game was insane. Ive never seen a QB make the horrible throws as he did...with others wide open.

and that's fine but 2 different groups of coaches have decided JC was better than NS. That tells me it could always get worse

Personal opinion. Kiffin knows that Crompton is best we have. You have to go with what you got. Fans booing at the game does little good and a lot of bad for recruiting. 2 QB system is no QB system. We could beat Florida, if Kiffin is right. At least we will not give up a 21 point lead if we get ahead like we did several times during Foolmer ( Chavis ). This is THE rebuilding year. Read the recruit list for 2010. We will get better every game from here on out. Let's be true vols and hang with our team. As I was leaving the game a UCLA fan was talking about a female UT fan being histerical after the game. His outlook was , "it is only a game". Be proud and loud. Other conferrence fans just don't understand.

so are you saying 'what the hell why not start ns?' when you start thinking like that this early in the season youre just giving up.

Well Im not giving up. It just proves that JC is no different than last year.

Ill wait until after the FL game to start my campaign...

If he shows some leadership in that game Ill be impressed.
