The problem is that deal was made on the premise that we were going to a 24 game playoff. Thats the only way all the teams would accept both one more sec game and a big time non-conference matchup.

Then Sankey screwed us by not voting for expansion. And not that I’m saying I’m for it - because I’m actually against it, but I can’t imagine why he did that. Probably to try to screw the big 10 overall and he didn’t care that it hurt the sec too so long as his top teams were protected, which public perception would suggest they are.

Well considering those sponsorships just started this year it doesn’t seem far fetched. Use of the words “in history” seems pretty laughable. Also Osu just got one with chase bank for nearly the same amount. I’m sure one with us and Dish is not far behind, since pilot already got the stadium one.

You would have gotten much more respect and good dialogue if you worked up to it instead of coming in like a wrecking ball.

Just ease up a bit and let someone else take the attention off you and you’ll be better received. Heck, might even make the circle jerk of trust at some point, assuming you build a gif repertoire…

And it’s called a bold claim, not an idiotic statement. As in, we were an ACL tear from being 11-1 with a much less talented team. It’s not far fetched at all to think the playoffs and a natty are possible with a better roster and better coaches, AND that if he doesn’t get there with his best roster yet (which will include multiple “generational talent” players) that he may not get there ever (without a significant and unforeseen jump in roster talent - which many fans have concluded we are unlikely to get and relegated to top 10-15 classes as opposed to top 5).
