Butch is a good recruiter and representative of the program/University of Tennessee.

In virtually every other area of his job, he's average at best, including this one you mentioned.

I guess you are satisfied with just being average, and feel the need to stroke ole Butch for his success in being a highly paid mediocre head coach. He wanted others to focus on the positive in one thread and there have been a lot of positives that folks like you want to pretend didn't happen.

Butch Jones’ one saving grace was considering Tennessee a career destination job when administration follies were a huge avoidance factor. Alas, he wasn’t up to the challenge.

I think that Butch has done a tremendous job building up the staff. Brady Hoke is a fantastic addition. I think that without the devastating injuries and with another year teaching his scheme, Shoop can look more like the DC everybody was expecting to see a year ago.

It's going to help Butch now that he has an interested boss that should give him good feedback and direction.

The talent in the trenches is getting back to where it needs to be. I hope that Drew Richmond steps up and Shy and KMac can be healthy.

What did I miss? I have spent the last few days in the Jeremy Pruitt appreciation thread. So many have expressed their thoughts and there are so many hours in a day after all.

Where do you start beat South Carolina first year...next yr legacy class...two losses to Florida we should had won..beat Georgia twice shoulda been three in a row. I mean it gave us excitement but misuse of personnel SMH.. Kamara misused...gave us two 9-4s and we appreciate it after Doofus debacle
