Sorry i am late
Scripture — Ephesians 6:11 (NIV)
“Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”
Reflection:
Paul does not say if resistance comes. He says to be prepared for it.
The armor of God is not about fearfulness — it is about readiness.
Truth guards the mind.
Righteousness protects the heart.
Faith steadies us when pressure rises.
Salvation anchors identity.
The Word of God gives clarity when confusion tries to settle in.
Notice also: armor is something you intentionally put on. Spiritual strength is not passive. Daily trust, prayer, obedience, humility, and time with God shape the way we stand when challenges come.
Some battles are loud. Others are subtle — discouragement, distraction, temptation, bitterness, pride, exhaustion. The enemy often works more through erosion than explosion.
But God has not left you defenseless.
You do not stand in your own strength alone. You stand equipped by Him.
Prayer:
Lord, help me put on Your armor today. Guard my mind with truth and protect my heart from compromise, fear, and discouragement. Strengthen my faith when pressure or temptation rises. Help me recognize the subtle ways distraction and weariness try to pull me away from You. Teach me to stand firm with humility, wisdom, and obedience. Remind me that my confidence is not in myself, but in Your presence and power. Lead me to walk faithfully and alertly in every part of my day. Amen.
