* Jordan has often highlighted Larry Bird's exceptional abilities, stating, "He was way above the game, way above everybody else."

Even Michael knew Larry was the greatest.

Jordan, not only the GOAT, but modest, too.

Can we get some people to vote for over? Share this around. It’s annoying.

I thought DW had over priced the tickets.
I think tennessee alumni may have more money than originally thought😜

all you have to do is look at the changes around Cumberland, and campus and its evident. its a big money deal now. and that's not just a comment exclusive to sports.

OH MY GOSH, I thought once, just once we could skip over this debate. 😖.

Jordan is the goat. Not only in the time frame he played, but James couldn’t survive in that era. Bird was a beast. There I said it and I won’t back down.
No we're letting the debates. Bird was an above average player, a tick above Lebron. Wilt, Magic, Kareem, Bill Russell. All great.

There's only one Mike.

Scripture — Book of Job 19:25 (NIV)
“I know that my redeemer lives,
and that in the end he will stand on the earth.”

Reflection
Job says this when almost everything has been stripped away—health, security, reputation, even the understanding of those closest to him. What stands out is not just that he believes, but how he says it:
“I know.”

There’s a kind of settled conviction here that doesn’t depend on circumstances lining up.
He calls God his Redeemer—someone who steps in, restores, vindicates, makes right what has been broken or misjudged. And Job anchors that in the future: “in the end he will stand.” In other words, what feels unresolved now will not remain that way forever.

There’s a quiet steadiness in this verse. It doesn’t deny pain. It doesn’t rush resolution. It simply refuses to let the present moment have the final word.
For us, it becomes a way to stand when things don’t make immediate sense: Not by explaining everything—but by trusting who stands at the end of it.

Prayer
Lord, when I don’t understand what’s happening or why things feel unsettled, help me hold onto what is true. Give me the kind of confidence that Job had—not based on circumstances, but on who You are. Remind me that You are my Redeemer, that You see what is hidden, and that You will make things right in Your time. Steady my heart when answers are unclear, and help me trust that You are already standing at the end of this story. Amen.
In that passage Job is literally talking about The Resurrection at the last day. He was saying that his faith was not based on what God would restore to him in this life, it was in eternal life. The rest of that passage says..

"And though after the skin worms destroy this body, YET IN MY FLESH SHALL I SEE GOD. Whom I shall see for myself, and not another, though my reins be consumed within me."

He was talking about Jesus, The Redeemer of our Souls. Who died and rose that we may be reconciled to God with an incorruptible body forever.

One of my favorite passages in the Bible...because it reminds me that no matter how bad my life here gets, this life is not the end and my hope is not in it, or in what things God gives in this life...my hope is in eternal life and what God will give to me then.

JJ redick is a complete fool if he thinks Kennard is more athletic and a better shooter than DK…this is absolutely pathetic knowing they have a spark on the bench..i despise the lakers.
It’s the arrogance in that city that they know everything. My previous job, I had team members all over the world, LA team members the most arrogant and it wasn’t even close.

Edit: forgot about the couple in NYC, I guess they were close….

Happy Thursday
Scripture — Psalm 46:10 (NIV)
“He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God…’”

Reflection:
This verse isn’t just about quiet—it’s about trust.
“Be still” in its original sense carries the idea of letting go… releasing control, stepping back from striving, and loosening your grip on outcomes you’re trying to manage.

Stillness can feel unproductive—even uncomfortable. But this verse isn’t calling you to inactivity. It’s calling you to realignment.
“…and know that I am God.”

Not just believe it in theory—know it. Anchor in it. Let it settle deeper than your current pressure or uncertainty.

Sometimes the most faithful move isn’t pushing harder—it’s trusting deeper.
Stillness is not weakness.
It’s confidence placed in the right place.

Prayer:
Lord, teach me how to be still in a way that honors You. When my instinct is to control, fix, or push forward, remind me that You are already present and at work. Help me release what I’m gripping too tightly and trust You with what I can’t resolve on my own. Quiet the noise in my mind and steady my heart in Your authority. Let my confidence come not from managing everything, but from knowing You are God. Amen.
