Bamgboye is a big body but I really don’t get excited about him. 3 rebounds and 2 blocks per game isnt high quality production.
Top 3 is my guess. However, I think almost all the teams in the top 8 are all so close.Definitely top 10, possibly top 3-5. We’re already top 10 in multiple “too early” polls and top 8 in Seth Davis’s. We were getting a lot of national love as an elite contender after the Hill commitment, Juke is gonna be another level if we land him.
Michigan state has been to 5 in 25 years, 2 in the last 15. Yes, we’ve been to 0 but that doesn’t mean anything for this coming year. Teams have made it without being constructed like those teams you’ve mentioned. The Big 10 style hasn’t translated to much success in the tournament the last decade or so until this year. The point is, there’s no one way to do it. If there was, everyone would do whatever that is.Well Tom Izzo has been to eight FFs. Illinois twice. Michigan three times. UT zero. Not sure what your point is.
The vote is irrelevant for him, though, unless he pursues legal action. He is out of eligibility, so if the rule fails to pass, he's done. The rule also states that current seniors who have exhausted their eligibility are not grandfathered in under the 5 for 5 rule change. So, if it passes, he's still done.
He could legally challenge the ruling in court because the NCAA is stupid and the timing and exclusion will lead to lawsuits by the current senior class who will argue that the NCAA is punitive in its exclusion of the current senior class. Whether he will choose to do so is debatable. Okpara actually has a shot at a decent NBA career, so he may just choose to move on.
I’ll concede that point and it’s and excellent take.To be fair it's a bit misleading...
As a true FR for VCU he had 75 total blocks in 35 games and 589 minutes of play
For Texas Tech he hit 35 blocks, but only played in 21 games and just 352 minutes of play
His per 40 is promising 9.7ppg, 7.9rpg, 4.7bpg
me either. I referred to them as formidable. And with a balanced attack. BTW, I wouldn't undersell David Mirkovic's contributions to that team. He plays every position from stretch 4 to point guard. The guy is really good.I'm not sure I would refer to Illinois' frontcourt as elite. Tomislav Ivisic averaged 10.4 pts and 5.6 rebounds per game. David Mirkovic averaged 13.3 ppg and 8 rpg. JP Estrella's stats were nearly identical to Ivisic but with a higher fg% and lower FT%. Frontcourt certainly wasn't a weakness for them but I definitely wouldn't lump them in with the other three final four teams, particularly Michigan and Arizona.
I agree with you on that. I would compare him, to an extent, to Ament. Ament was a better scorer but Mirkovic was a better rebounder. Both were able to work out of multiple positions, although Mirkovic's ball handling was much better than Ament's.me either. I referred to them as formidable. And with a balanced attack. I'm not familiar with Bamgboye. Is he someone we're recruiting hard and have a good shot at signing? To be fair it's a bit misleading...

I would say the same but a possum has died underneath our house so am rethinking my priorities
RIP Possum…RIP
Cannot confirm identity of possum, have not gone down there yet but can't put it off much longer
It's @TN-POSSUM . Typical behavior. Sad news.
