I also think Barnes gave an unequivocal endorsement to A) Boost Ament's draft stock and B) signal to Juke that he needs to jump on board

I don’t see Henderson coming off shoulder surgery being much of a factor (I could be wrong). There’s a solid 7-man rotation there right now, but really need Juke and another depth piece to round out the roster. I would like any freshmen impact to be a “nice to have” and not really need to rely on them to be part of the rotation.

Would be nice to add a really good PG, but we still need another big. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but we currently have 4 post players in the boat. If even two of them get injured, we are extremely thin in the post.

Perimeter defense and/or rebounding are what this roster could use the most with the last spot IMO. Assuming we land Juke.

although there is one player on the roster nobody is talking about who could potentially make a difference in both of those areas. If Ralph Scott is ready to be a solid contributor as a freshman that could be big imo.

I think people might be forgetting that we have the freshman Washington. I don't think he plays a whole lot, but he would be available, making it 4 bigs just like last year. Sure, we lose a little height, but it might not be as critical if everything else is clicking.

Barnes is saying that we are sleeping on Brown's abilities (as a non-freshman). So, I am questioning whether we really need another big.
