McCoy not catching the other knee injury until it was too late really screwed him

and if he would have come back and re-tore the left, or injured his right because of the pre-existing condition, he becomes another cautionary tale of why sitting out is worth it

kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don't position to be in

Now that we didn't get to cash in on his 1st round (top 10) draft pick marketing, his NIL for 2025 is a complete waste. No real silver lining to spin it now. Big bummer.

For a bone plug used to repair a cartilage defect in his knee. Not the ACL, which is said to be fine. I have no idea if those were part of the same operation or something previous.
