I always see so many people praising Evan Miya’s work but it’s weird because he is almost always an outlier. This has Tennessee as the 19th best transfer class right now.
Other than Rubin none of our transfers are big pluses on defense according to him, and Hill is a strong negative. I think his formula weighs that side of the ball more
He said he gave a hint. Earlier, he said he thought we'd add a "so-so center". I think I'm probably too stupid to solve the riddle. I don't see a top 400 Center where that makes sense. Or maybe that wasn't even the hint. I mean, one time I did one of those real-life puzzle adventures where you have to drive around a city solving the next clue to figure out where to go next. One of the clues referenced reindeer poop. I had no idea what that meant, but in the vicinity of that clue I found a peppermint on the ground. I thought that must be it and got really excited. Turns out it was just a random peppermint on the ground probably left by a homeless person. So yeah, I'm not the best at solving riddles...I’ll just randomly throw out the Baylor dude as the secret visitor.
Should be noted that Hill scored 15 ppg on 25 mins coming off the bench. He also shot a better FT% 3pt % FG% and averages one less turnover per game. Gillespie got him beat in steals and and has about double the assists.Hill is the 25th overall player per On3 rankings
Ja'Kobi was the 11th overall player last year
Chaz was the 4th overall player the year before
Dalton was the 20th overall player the year he came in
I think Hill a great addition not sure I'd agree he is on the same level, at least based on On3 ratings as Chaz or Ja'Kobi. But this class of portal additions includes far more help around Hill than any of the other 3 had gotten.

No clue who you call "so-so" from that list...
Have you watched his highlights. The dude has a nice stroke from 3 and can take a guy off the bounce. For an underclassman with talent around him could have better stats. You could do a lot worse than Braedan. I say if its him bring him on board. The guy is a gamer.I really hope it’s not Lue. He’s only 6’9 and his stats aren’t really impressive
247 also lists him as a small forward which is odd. I was hoping for a center who is good defensively
Defense although obviously important is something that can be taught with scheme and effort. Lundblade will never be Mashack but who's to see he can't be as serviceable as Vescovi?Other than Rubin none of our transfers are big pluses on defense according to him, and Hill is a strong negative. I think his formula weighs that side of the ball more
