Kinda is just the Vols luck it feels like. Probably 95% of players would entertain the best offer/offers but of course we go after a guy who’s the most loyal of them all I’m not getting too down on it tho because so far, I love our portal class

Yeah we will be fine either way. We need players that want to be here. Vandy is not winning anything with him next year and he knows that.

I’m pretty skeptical on Heupel as well but you’re most likely guaranteed a few highly rated nut cases every year in this day & age of college athletics.

Whether or not it’s worth the risk to these coaches, is up to them.

Why? Juke can play the 2, Ament the 3, and Haralson the 4.

Hill, Ames, Lundblade, Juke, Ament rotating for the 1,2,3 spots. Plenty of PT

Haralson shouldn’t be playing the 4 at 6’7” compared to Ament at 6’10”.

Someone mentioned it prior but Haralson does play like a big guard. I see him exclusively at the 3. Ament will have to get his minutes at the 4.

If Ament does come back, he’ll likely add on additional weight to better fill out his frame.

Too much Tanner love still out there. IMO that ship has sailed and is not what this developing team needs at this point. All effort should go into Juke, two bigs, and then try to sway Ament back or take the next best available.

There’s only 3 centers in the portal right now inside the top 100 that aren’t committed already. After that there’s a big drop off. Diop, Thiam, then Drew Fielder. All similar stats. After that is slim pickings. Thiam is visiting Michigan tomorrow. Really hope something is in the works

We have money for this. Use the Tanner money here. Hill and Ames can handle the point. I see no reason why Freeman would go play for Pope over Pitino or Barnes.

Heupel feels lazy compared to Barnes. I don’t care about the amount of spots differentiating between sports. Maybe Barnes should have found Heupel a quarterback. We knew our needs after the Ohio state game and got lackluster effort.

Barnes is basically a nursing home patient by age and is out recruiting everyone. Super impressive and hope we land Juke soon.

Haralson is a lot stronger an thicker than Nate. He could play the 4 no problem. If Nate comes back they both can play 3/4 depending on the situation
