our offense is just not good. id think about moving away from our hitting coach or using all of our money this off season for hitters.

Hitting has been this program's Achilles heel since the beginning of time. That's why I was so encouraged early in the season, as the girls looked confident and aggressive at the plate. I was singing the hitting coach's praises and saying he deserves a raise. It's sure baffling how they've all gone into slump at the same time. They look lost. Hopefully they can come out of it soon.

Base running has to be a strength for a team not a negative, especially when getting on base is a challenge.

And they looked so solid early in the season against some good teams. I just don't get this sorry play now. The hitting is so bad giving up 2 runs its over.
