2 more pounds at home, making 3 lb in all. And tells the cops he only smokes, doesn't sell.

Maybe we owe Knox 52 an apology. Maybe it is humanly possible to smoke that much by yourself and play college ball.

But Holy Coma Batman!

Also? Bet this guy comes out of the haze and plays in bamas next game. Next to playing an accessory to murder, playing Cheech and Chong's grandson is nothing for Nate Oates.

I guess there are no restrictions on how these folks spend their NIL cash. Maybe if there were they would be a little more circumspect.

With the current laws in Alabama he’s going to be in big trouble. Doesn’t matter what he says. That amount is intent to distribute.

Do I agree with it with so many states being legal? No.

But the law is still the law and he made a very poor choice.

That’s enough to be considered trafficking in Alabama.

I’m
We? …sowing malcontent.

Missed evaluations? Sure. The Gold standard, to date in this Brave New World, is Cignetti, who proved it ain’t all about star ratings and NIL payments.
Not really, his average age was an absurd 24. He caught lightening with a QB, great S&C and a super old solid group.

Don't know about anybody else, but I found this totally amazing that men's basketball has this kind of budget. I know they are top five in attendance sometimes number one. Still if they have 23 million to work with they should be doing better. We call out the Lady Vols for not doing enough with their NIL this definitely goes for the men's team as well.

Men's basketball has a recent SEC championship and is a regular fixture in the top 10. I have no problem with the quality of the men's team. I would love to see them make a final four before Barnes hangs it up.

And I know, they better hurry.

Cooper saying she doesn't know why she was benched -- that definitely is not good. Either Coop's not being straight, she refused to listen, or Kim didn't talk to her or... yeah, I'm running out of ideas. Under any scenario, that doesn't sound like a player coming back.

Also, Kim saying "get back to playing like we were recruited to play" also says a lot. Also still talking about getting more shots than the other team, playing fast, playing through runs, etc. This doesn't sound like she's thinking "the system doesn't work." Instead, it sounds like, "I was not able to consistently get this group of players to work the system."

She should know by now who the best 5-6 or 7 are that does the job closest to the requirements. You've got to know who is best in each position and play those players together most of the time. Expecting 10 players on your team to be equally effective is nuts at this level. Substitute only for bad play , foul trouble and rest . Full line change is not going to get it done at this level.

That’s how i took it. Damn the torpedoes! Full steam ahead!

One other option on Coop, as long as we’re speculating:

“I’m sick of all that 💩. I refuse to feed the social media trolls.”

Coop isnt exactly the world's smoothest communicator. Could be she just didn't want to explain at all to the media. Sure hope that's the case.

Her saying they shouldn’t have had a Plan B if the original game plan wasn’t working is INSANE to me! 🥴😂
The woman in that video is either completely delusional or being held hostage and forced to read a nonsensical self incriminating statement. Blink twice fast if you need to be rescued. Complete' word salad with an occasional identity effort cliche tossed in.

I've said several times she doesn't have a plan B because she considers implementing any plan other than that damn system to be an admission of failure. Which is exactly what she said here. Do we need to repeat the consequences of that philosophy? Seven in a row and 9 of 11. 10th seed.

Completely doubling down. Determined to go out in a blaze of glory, or in this case inglory. Sounds for all the world like someone who just wants this season over.

Exactly. Previous results and all available evidence be damned

Relax. It will be over soon…
🤕
Heh… just occurred to me the level of lamentations, wailing and gnashing of teeth here, were we to win a game. Goodness forbid, two. 😉

Nah It would just change to why did you have to drag us through the inner ring of Hell to get here. Unfortunately the negative records set this season will still stand. That said, even one win just to snap the evil losing streak would be a million times better heading into the all important portal season.

Cooper is….an interesting case. She knows. For dang sure.

I think Cooper did the right thing for her team by answering the way she did. Of course she knew why, but when you and your team and staff have just spent the last week getting into the "it's a new season, leave the past in the past" mindset, you do not choose to re-open that wound in what would have been a major talking point tomorrow night if she had answered truthfully.

The reporter never should have asked the question. It was obviously intended to elicit a click-baiting response.

Good job, Coop! 🧡

Maybe she meant to do a good thing, but if so, she missed the mark. That response reflects badly on Kim.
