Biggest thing on Chaz was that UT was the clear winner in terms of football fit and where he felt would best benefit his development from the beginning. While the staff never felt it was in the bag until the end they also felt very much like they were the school to beat. There were certainly big bags being thrown at him & while UT offered a hefty bag it wasn't the biggest offer he had. At the end of the day relationships & coaching matter - you just gotta have the $$ too

We went from Zylan Perry to Kendrick and Washington.
Maybe we will go from Sawchuck to Justice Haynes.

Haynes would be awesome but I doubt we would offer anything close to what he is asking for. Haynes is the 1A type back that I wanted paired with Bishop.

Such a breath of fresh air to hear a kid pick us for development. Haven’t had that in a while
