How is that legal? I'll never understand how in every state those people are allowed to hold motorists hostage legally. You can see they're not even in a hurry, just leisurely pedaling along. Scum.

scum? it's likely a crit race or a tour race. why the hell does this effect our lives? people are exercising and being healthy.

Honestly the road should be shut down. But police prob thought that people wouldnt be dumb enough to drive through the median like psychopaths.

Im fine with an occasional race. It’s no different than a parade. I just don’t agree with random people riding bikes on the road and slowing down everyone so they can go for a ride. At least a farmer will pull a tractor over to the side and let people pass. Bikers will just pedal on like the world is just turning for them.

I honestly think it's the curves and hills in that stretch that mess with people. They can't see around the curves and I'm convinced they think the interstate is going to end. The worst is at the Conner Rd overpass, they get to the top of that hill and think they're going to fall off the edge. I call them "Flat Earthers"

It's not a race. It's a daily thing where inconsiderate people block roads and keep people from getting to work on time or picking up kids. I repeat. Scum.

Hahaha. One of my first driving lessons for my kids has always been, when we’re going around a curve on a hill, the road keeps going…follow the line.

we have a race here in God's country called the Roan Groan. Pro cyclists go 55 miles over 7000' of elevation. insane.

In all seriousness I don't care all that much about this. When I see a cyclist on the road, annoyance is my second thought. The first thought is "This is really the activity you want to risk your whole life for?"

There's just thousands of cooler ways to risk your life on a daily basis.
