So, as expected, Tulane and James Madison get blown out. Just awful games to watch. Neither team should have been in the playoffs.

I hope corrections are made in the process and the Best and Most Competitive teams play in the future.

It’s a shame. It’s like watching a Homecoming games with a doormat team. Sad.

Just keep in mind all fans, everybody you know, presumes that even more (worse) teams will somehow help this. Smack these people when they tell you this. They're insane.
If we are being honest there isn't a world that exists where Tulane or JMU are actually top 25 teams. There could be plenty of interesting games if you have 16.

NO ONE, especially the CFP, promised you this would be "the best 12 teams in the country" for this tournament.

The way the selections work was known SPECIFICALLY not to pick the top 12.

Yet you complain.

I was glad that Texas Tech and Duke were playing basketball and choose to watch that close, competitive game other than the Oregon/JMU blowout. Oh well, next week we should have competitive games instead of watching two glorified scrimmages.

Where did I complain about criteria? Where did I say the CPF screwed up? I made a statement that said nothing about CPF criteria or them selecting the wrong teams. Go to bed
Of course you're complaining that Tulane and JMU don't belong in the tournament even though they meet the criteria the CFP established.

That's the entire point of this thread. Complain about the CFP criteria being "bad."

If you don't like the game, watch something else. May I recommend the Packers and Bears which is going to OT.

I hope you get the shoes to match your clown nose for Christmas.

I made a comment about my belief in those teams true abilities

Never claimed they shouldn't be in this version of the playoffs

Never claimed the CPF screwed up.

Go look at how many blowouts there was during the 4 team CFP playoffs...and there wasn't any Group of 5 teams in those... People just want to complain...

Spoiler alert: out of 20 semifinal games 13 were blowouts by the average of 24 points...

The average margin of victory in CFP championship games during 4 team playoff was 20 points... So yes it's all about the group of 5 team being in...🤦

Got a feeling that will change as the talent continues to redistribute due to the portal and NIL. Outside of the G5 route I'd have to assume the games will be far more competitive and entertaining.
