'26 MS LB TJ White (Tennessee)

We’ll see. Perlotte is an interesting player. Looks physically like a safety to me. Harmon was highly rated, but I’d be surprised if he ever plays much here.

Carter was a guy we beat out Bama for and he Just doesn’t look like that level of player. They all look lost in space. Absolutely zero reason not to have gotten help in the portal last year.
Carter was 2nd Team All-SEC despite missing significant portions of the season due to turf toe (and playing through it).

Alabama also had a linebacker finish 2nd Team All-SEC. No 1st teamers. So yeah, I'd say he's that level of player.

I’ve seen enough great LBs to know one when I see one. I ain’t seen one.
"Best linebacker I ever seen is myself in the mirror. I wuzza misile back in high school. I done had 1000 tackles. I wooda went to the pros but I gots a bad knee. The college coaches said they aint never seen any 1 like me.

Until I see a linebacker as great as I wuz then they are all bad. They don't make'm like me anymore!" - This guy

Best I ever saw on film was my uncle at Glencliff. My father and other uncle played on that as well. Was born blind in one eye and always had a chip on his shoulder because of it.

One side of his helmet sparkled like a newly waxed car, the other scarred and gouged cause he'd come at you with his head cocked to the good side. Broke two facemasks in one year.

Per capita Louisiana and Alabama are loaded
Mississippi too. Like 2016 the Mississippi class had Jeff Simmons, AJ Brown, DK Metcalf, Benito Jones, and Raekwon Davis. And 5 more 4 stars.

The following year had Cam Akers, Willie Gay Jr., Miles Brennan, Kylin Hill, Saahdiq Charles.

2018 was down but 2019 had Charles Cross, Nakobe Dean, Jerrion Ealy, Byron Young (Bama), Brandon Turnage, KJ Jefferson, John Rhys Plumlee, Jonathan Mingo, Da'Jon Terry. And thats digging deep into 3 stars.

This is also why you rarely see both Ole Miss and Miss State good at the same time. They're usually either both down as the state gets raided by Bama, Auburn, and LSU or 1 of them is good and locking down the state.

my uncle played qb and linebacker. he can still play, in fact had coach put him in...IMG_3646.gif

Harmon played in every game this year including Special Teams.

Staff never intended to redshirt him.
My bad. I was as looking at stats and he Only showed up on 6 games. I’m not seeing that on the UT page. I hope the young man blossoms under this new staff.

Massively underperformed compared to his potential. Double turf toe doesn’t help, but the overall LB production was pretty bad compared to expectations.
Doesn’t help? It’s miserable. Anyone saying anything different about turf toe never had it or seen it. It’s a torn ligament on the bottom side in the big toe joint. Hard to get a cleat on and walk on it, much less constant change of direction. It’s taped up to not bend. Absolutely miserable injury.

Well said Skooter.
You won’t find NFL LBS trying to play through double turf toe.

That’s why his stock is high. The dude is a warrior and he’s gifted.

Most people sit out with turf toe for multiple weeks or months. He played with double and still made a difference. Sorry him missing practice time and playing through excruciating pain doesn’t meet your expectations.
