Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

I have no idea why you would have to pay a buyout if he’s not retained by the new coach that seems odd
Since Campbell is bringing his DC with him, Knowles is probably negotiating the amount of money owed him from State. $7M was mentioned but he may settle for less to come to UT.

Michigan wanted him gone. Didn’t think he was the answer anymore. Big loss to osu sealed it. Only way they let a workplace relationship get it the way in college football.
I thought he did really well taking over a depleted roster last year, beating OSU and Bama and then 9-3 with a true freshman QB.

I think Michigan is gonna be meh for a minute now.

OP was talking poor UCLA dropping 42 on his defense.

Between 2024 UT and 2025 UCLA, the 2 teams averaged 17.5 ppg vs winning teams.

He held UT to 17...UCLA to 42. Call it 30 ppg...
Yeah but UCLA's scheme changed when Neuheisal started calling plays that day. They didn't know what hit them. I mean, I watched UCLA all year up to that point. Was a completely different team.

I just felt like PSU died after that Oregon loss.
