Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes everyone.
My friends service will be at the end of this week so at least he can be put to rest. There's something uniquely devastating about burying a guy you have memories on the playground with.
He was more like a brother to me and my kids called him Uncle J. Life is soooo short when you really think about it and that's been hitting me like a brick wall the past 24hrs.
Getting work emails sent to my phone while I'm going thru his stuff really puts things in perspective. The only true things in life are your friends and your family. All the rest is extra crap that doesn't matter and will never care about you.

These days, money talks...if we have the money, recruits will come. We need great coaches more than anything, and hopefully he lives up to his reputation.

If he can just get DB’s to turn their heads when the ball is in the air, fix run gaps, and not play 10 yards off when it’s 3rd and 4, then we should be fine.

I really don’t know how to feel about Knowles. I was excited about the Walters hire when it seemed like things were headed that direction. Felt like a home run. PSU’s defense was pretty bad this year, and it’s not Iike they lacked talent.

This is an A+ hire.

The only challenge will be how quickly he can install the defensive system and how quickly and well can our players grasp it.

Will be interesting to see what changes he makes to the staff.
