Many of us know the excitement of a good botched coaching search, but were to young to remember the feeling of a natty.

What? His first two years at Texas his defenses were ranked in the top 15. They dipped in his third year after they lost everyone to the NFL, but still finished 40th, which is not that bad.

Walters I believe would be a great fit at this time. He’s an actual DC that calls plays, familiar with Heup’s offense, young and hungry with a nice track record at different stops.

I know. I have a nephew who is an Illini graduate and his brother is more of a diehard. I like his work with defensive backs. Had predicted Inge would land the job WHEN Banks netted a HC job. I don’t think that flies now.
