The UGA and OK games were lost by one score. Momentum in college football is a real thing too and UT missed it with that loss to UGA. We probably still don't beat bama or Vandy but who knows what happens if UT has 3-5 more defense stops in both of those games.

Think we kinda played defeated against Vandy in the 2nd half on top of the horrible playcalling.

UT should be able to pay top dollar for a DC .
Should save a bundle on the OC( not sure what Haze makes) but paying a OC in name only while Heupel is the real OC is wasteful.

Why do teams with losing records have bowl invites, anyway? They couldn’t break even, even with a bowl win.

in some cases as with App State, they are having to take teams with losing records because teams with winning records are declining bowl games..

The offense gave OU 15 points in that 1 score game (9 literal points). Defense sucked this year, Banks has to own that and it costed him his job (defense was ass in that UGA game). Offense has to improve as well and Heup has to take a PHD course on clock/game management.

Didn't help that a young and immature Vols team was sitting at 8-3 with nothing to play for, but completely agree. I really hate that so many of our own posters think the name of the team dictates the outcome.

That Vandy team has as much of a case for being in the CFP as Bama, OU, Miami, and even Notre Dame...but of course no one is talking about that because they're Vandy.

And that is beyond stupid...Vandy is playing better than anybody in the country right now. I hate Dickheadio Parva..but that dude is just a great college football player that is literally playing out of his freaking mind the last month...he is almost unstoppable.
