Both can be true. We aren't as good as they are, but their schedule is easier. They wouldn't have lost to Vandy by double digits at home. But they probably would have dropped 1 or 2 or even 3 with our schedule.

Go look at OSU’s schedule. They haven’t been tested all year. I’m not saying it’s not an impressive performance/win, because it definitely is. But with the schedule they have, it’s easy to understand why they’re here.

Oh, I didn’t necessarily mean for that as we are “as good” as them. We aren’t. But the question was why can’t we be as good or at least compete like them in 2 years. Part of the answer is absolutely schedule. When you play UGA and Bama every year (not going forward), you will have big time obstacles trying to “turn it around quickly.”

Indiana is perfectly fine playing 9 bad teams per year because they know they have a great shot at getting into a 12 team playoff.
