Mendoza losing the Heisman with every post-game interview. What a dork 🤣
I had never heard him before. If you told me that was the guy who wore the mascot outfit I'd have been like "yeah that makes sense".

And I can say that because he makes more money than me and just won a championship

Indiana is a team of players that nobody else wanted and now they are Big Ten Champions...

Beat the team that probably has 1st or 2nd best roster in America and only thing the SEC water carriers can say who did they beat. 🤣🤣

Year 2 and you take Indiana to #1 and a big ten championship. Why can’t we be this good???
We were taken to #1 too. Not far off.

To this year - literally 1 program like this, with the sort of turnaround. 133 others are asking "why not us?"...because 1 program every...maybe decade...does something like this?

Both can be true. We aren't as good as they are, but their schedule is easier. They wouldn't have lost to Vandy by double digits at home. But they probably would have dropped 1 or 2 or even 3 with our schedule.
Oh, I didn’t necessarily mean for that as we are “as good” as them. We aren’t. But the question was why can’t we be as good or at least compete like them in 2 years. Part of the answer is absolutely schedule. When you play UGA and Bama every year (not going forward), you will have big time obstacles trying to “turn it around quickly.”

Indiana is perfectly fine playing 9 bad teams per year because they know they have a great shot at getting into a 12 team playoff.
