Even the Ohio state player(can’t remember his name) who has also played in SEC said this week it is different. In Little10 you only have 2-3 games that you worry about but SEC is the grind where you could falter and get beat any game.

Point being ND has had no pressure of teams to really challenge them.

Your argument thought is making the point that $ankey screwed the league for $s. Too many people look at the W-L and SEC is now permanently disadvantaged.

Tobias Harris had a great season, Kennedy Chandler helped us win a SECT championship two others that lived up to the hype.

Jarnell Stokes also gave us 3 pretty good years

You are getting hung up on one school being unexpectedly good. When you compare us to the entire field of course we are going to look worse. There are like 3 teams in America that aren’t looking at Indiana and Cignetti with some degree of envy right now.

Play in a ****** conference that only has 2-3 good teams but get a schedule where you only play 1 of them. Does this OSU or IU team run the gamut in the SEC? I have my doubts.

The process still holds true though. They are nothing program and can get turned around like this with less resources etc than us and worse recruiting classes than us. It really sucks to watch for the most part.

I’m referring to Top 10 recruits. Trey Smith is up there, but most of those guys weren’t Top 10 recruits. Peyton’s high school era was a bit before my time.
