Illinois came out of half playing WAY more physical. I don't understand why we didn't recognize that and respond in-kind early.

Again I love your hatred of Alabama but the teams below them don’t deserve to be in either. I just know I would lose my mind if Tennessee got in the SEC championship game and then missed a 12 team playoff because we lost the extra game. Anybody in this forum saying they would be fine with the committee leaving us out in that scenario is simply not telling the truth. I do admire the hatred for Alabama and the way it makes rational thought impossible.

If UT was blown out by 3 TD's in the SEC championship with the same record, no one here should lose their mind if left out. Bama had negative rushing yards and didn't score until the 4th qtr. They 100% should be left out.

Illinois is a veteran team that took over against a team that doesn't know their identity yet.

With that said, the offensive rebounds given up late to Illinois was pathetic.

We aren't the best team in the SEC, not even close. Top 3rd to middling.

SEC is physical, and every team that's played physical has gotten the better of us.

We will. I’ve just seen it before both ways, we do great in these early months and don’t even make the sweet 16. I for one am actually glad we haven’t even come close to peaking, still have a very quality win. The team has the highest ceiling as any Rick Barnes team. Just isn’t worth getting too high or low in this sport in December.

No you'll still get them. But let's be honest, this team is flawed in a number of ways. Not close to the standard we've become accustomed to. Too many holes on this roster to compete for anything meaningful this season.

Again, who you putting in there place? You don’t think Georgia would have killed the other teams below Alabama? I hate Alabama so I am done arguing but it’s comical you think Tennessee fans would think they should be left out.

I agree with this Syracuse looks like a stout team.

And maybe we get it together, but it's not looking promising at the moment.

This looks like one of the worst teams Barnes has delivered at the moment.
