I’m sorry. So I’m supposed to believe that Heupel and company saw no issues with just mom and not the recruit showing up to Knoxville? And then agreed to this huge flip without ever talking to the kid prior to the paperwork coming in? So what, they’re just twiddling their thumbs on signing day and all of a sudden ā€œHoly ****, it’s legend’s paperwork!ā€? I may question some decision making by Heupel, but there’s no way he and his staff are this f-ing stupid.

Give me a break. This is either fake news or really shoddy journalism on rival’s part.
tOSU PR and fanatic propaganda.
They’re bootie hurt.

Honestly if Kelsey Pope pulled that off then the man needs a big raise

I'm gonna believe Bey decided to take into consideration his family's advice (like most teenagers should) and signed with Tennessee, then caught a bunch of crap from tosu people. Pressure to explain to them what changed resulted in the posts after signing just to get them off his back.
I'm so OVER, these self-serving, money-grubbing juveniles & their "handlers ". Play for Tennessee or NOT...Vols are bigger than all y'all.

NIL is what has caused players to hit the portal year over year seeking more money. Ironically, it will be NIL that will contractually keep kids from transferring because if ā€œbreach of contract.ā€

You are already seeing the start of this with UGA but I’m sure contracts will be standard and have a timeline in there
There lies the problem! If the transfer situation would get solid parameters and make these kids and families do their diligence to determine where they sign, all of these shenanigans would come to a screeching halt.

In the 247 article where Heupel goes in depth of signees, Heupel didn't say anything but positives regarding Bey and his fit and future schemes in the offense.
Bey is a Vol til he is not. Drop it, let it fie down.
Pretty much said the same thing 100 times and it just don’t stick. 🤦

I’ll say it again. While none of us know the family dynamics, just saying the kid will do what he wants when he turns 18 grossly oversimplifies things. If the family can’t get on the same page this is going to be a train wreck wherever he ends up. In fact, if they aren’t on the same page, we don’t need that chaos.
