My grandpa and grandma would take us on Friday evening to eat Krystal, then go across Clinton Hwy to go to Kmart and A&P Grocery Store. Great memories of my grandparents

Same here but now you got a 50/50 chance on getting anything fresh anywhere. I dont eat out as much as I use to for that reason.

Should have just hired Gary Patterson after Fulmer in all honesty. Kiffin may be the flashy hire these days but in 2009 in retrospect it was a “wtf hire”

Looks like a lot of coaches see Mike Norvell like they did Dooley/Butch their last seasons and they are getting off the ship now before being let go during next season or at the end of the season.

Can someone please get Surtain right now?

Of course. It was reported that FSU reached out to Kiffin. Then, they decided to retain Norvell, and someone said that he agreed to give back some of his salary to NIL. Assistants want stability. Norvell was a very good offensive mind, and I can't believe he made 2 awful QB decisions.

Tim is not in the same situation as going into the last-off-season. He’s going into this season coaching for his life, like he was in 2024. And he doesn’t have 15 defensive linemen to rotate out going into next year. So he won’t be able to deliver pressure with 4 like he did in 2024. Look at what happened when we couldn’t get to the QB with 4 last year. We got crushed…. Because we couldn’t scheme to get other people home without leaving the middle of the field wide open. A common trend in a Tim Banks scheme.

The question now becomes, “is he allowed or deserving of a 2nd chance, and arguably a 3rd chance to steer the ship in the right direction?” For $2.1 million, which is an elite level DC’s cost (and what we will be paying Tim Banks next year). I believe there’s much better than we’re paying Tim Banks for. And if the defense looks exactly the same this year, Tim might get his boss onto a hot seat.

This the last thing I will say on the subject of Banks is I am not a diehard Banks fan. I do root for him to do well, I am a Vol. I am not fan of the kinda crap that is thrown around here. Every time the Vols lose someone has to be blamed and the scapegoat.

People lose gambling money and they need to have someone to blame besides Vegas. Those people know what they are doing, I have kin in that field and a long family history. Joe Jacov who is smarter them is betting 6 leg parlays all day and wonders why he is losing. He wins here and then comes up with "the system" and then he really loses his azz. It must be someone on the Vols fault. He Broke and disorderly takes to Vol Nation, Fire ______________
aside: If you be parlays the best thing you can do is donate that money to charity or send it to the casino of your choice. Bet single games.

Neither one will stop posting their retarded answers and solution until Joe gets his money back with interest and Bob's monkey stomped ego is healed. Which never happens. Personally I wish they would pursue Matt Entz (HC@ Fresno State). Current salary is ~1.1M so he could get a significant bump. He has a defensive background and former HC at North Dakota State who has dominated FCS for last 10-15 years. He left NDSU to do to USC for 1 year and then took the Fresno State job. Being a former HC would be a benefit to CJH to assist with game day decisions and planning.

Dude, its Iowa "Freaking" State. Brock Purdy and Breese Hall aside, a historically bottom feeder team in Big 8/12. I feel like he shied away from big time jobs in SEC. But maybe that was a geography thing. Can he recruit for a Top 10 program? He is seemingly a player's coach and definitely excels at coaching up players. Still not sure he can get them over the hump to beat OSU and Michigan--and now IU.

They were dumb hiring Franklin but they’re reason was “can’t win big games” or whatever. Campbell has and has at Iowa State of all schools.
