Just let him go

This is why it is hard to take NSD seriously. We get to play games like this in every portal window from now until he contributes, which could be 3 years from now.

2 or 3 of these kids leave before they play, and that class rating means nothing. Let me know what the talent composite of the two deep is on the 1st day of Fall camp.

Beyond that? Players being here as freshmen doesn't mean too much.

I tend to think more and more teams will dedicate more and more resources to proven players in the portal. Money is not unlimited and how much do you want to invest for potential 2-3 years from now? Knowing that potential can leave at any time. It’s an absolutely screwed up system. It’s a tough system for a coach to navigate.

I'm just trying to sus the politics of GMAC possibly starting in our bowl game.🤷
Don't know what sus means, but I can't see him playing in a bowl game unless he truly believes he will be here next year competing for the job. Better chance Nico transfers back to UT IMO. And no offense was intended in my original reply. Sometimes the horses arse that I am leaks out.

As they should....well...smart ones with an eye toward making the playoffs.
