'26 VA RB Savion Hiter (Michigan commit)

yeah I don’t think it would be possible to add him to what we have already, knowing we have to make big moves in portal on defense.

“When I woke up this morning, I saw myself running down the sideline with the Power T on my helmet. I’d like to thank all the coaches at Michigan for giving me the opportunity. But my next few years will be on Rocky Top TENNESSEE. #respeckmydezn”

? The offense was pretty damn impressive this year, no?
Impressive at times.
It’s the other times that make me laugh when people say an elite running back from “unstoppable “.

Unless things change from the last 5 years we will commit enough pre snap penalties and missed blocks to stop ourselves plenty.

lol. Sure .
Laugh all you want but statistically we are already the top offense in the SEC and in the past 2 classes we’ve secured the best QB, best WR, and 2 of top 3 OL. Pendleton, Satterwhite, Warren, Perry are all fr, so. Ethan Davis (so) is a budding star at TE. Staley and Matthews (fr, so) are budding stars at WR. All we need is an RB.

The issues on defense held back the offense more than having an elite running back. But I do agree with what you are saying with talent returning on the offense. Fixing the defense is a bigger priority imo.

Top QB in the last 2 classes?? lol. A lot of people in the industry will dispute this , but that remains to be seen.

The rest, yeah we should be real good.
But class rankings, star rankings and paper lineups don’t mean 💩 until you prove it on the field.

Statistically don’t mean 💩 either if stats are inflated against sorry teams.
We scored under 30 vs Bama , Vandy, and Oklahoma, so good defense’s were a reality check.

I agree the future looks bright but you’re counting chickens WAY before the eggs hatch.

You mean to tell me good defenses tend to hold teams to fewer points than other teams? No that can’t be right

I agree in principal with what you are saying, but this kid is special. Like Heisman soecial in our offense.

Not only has there not been a 5 star RB since the 2023 cycle, but Hiter grades out as the 8th best player overall in the Composite. There hasn't been a RB graded that high since maybe Bijan Robinson. And when you turn on the tape you understand why. Kid makes cuts in-between the tackles and around LBs like the best I've seen.
He's no DGG.
