'26 UT WR Salesi Moa (Utah)

People said the same about Jennings. To be fair I think Jennings would’ve been an NFL safety as well if he played that position instead of WR

Jennings has that dog in him, wasn’t gonna be denied at other positions. To be clear I think this guy can be an NFL WR too, it’s just I think highest potential is Saftey.

Key is the language I used. I think he CAN be a NFL WR. He absolutely WILL be a NFL Saftey. If he wants to be WR here I will not be mad at it, but we need help at Saftey way more and this kid is built for it.
I just want the guy here. If he ends up a safety I am cool with that. If he plays WR? I am cool with that as well. I want as many players makers as we can get.

Absolutely. If we get him at WR I still think he has the highest ceiling at that position besides Keys. No disrespect to King or Bey, King is a pure WR we can develop, Bey is just a speed demon, just get the ball in his hand from short passes or RB. Landing all 4 is an embarrassment of riches.

I'm sure whatever plans UT has for Moa was sorted out a long time ago. If he's balking it could be for any number of reasons.
I think it just comes down to Utah upping the ante and throwing a bag at him. Their class is abysmal. This is their last ditch effort to close a big time blue chipper this cycle

I mean, honestly we had 3 stud receivers this year.

We won 8 games.

I’m not overpaying for receivers.

Mike Matthews is on the cusp of breaking through. If he would clean up a few drops he probably already would have.

Brazzell got handcuffed by the rest of the offense since we couldn't consistently run it or rely on intermediate routes for the WRs with as much zone coverage as we got. We saw how well he played early on before defenses adjusted.

Our OL depth wasn't quite there this year, but I thought they were very solid.

I think we just need to take some of the pressure off Joey by running it more consistently and then the WRs could actually shine a little more.
