I think this is completely about proximity to home. He's 45 mins from UTAH campus. He's 1600 miles from Neyland.View attachment 795222
Who looks at that production as a WR and says, “yeah I want to be a part of that!”
He wants to play WRHe's an outstanding prospect, full stop.
That said, I'm not sure we need more than 2 WRs in this class considering what's returning next season + Keys/King. So if we think he can be an elite S and he's willing to play that position, I think we should (noting it's not my money and I'm not privy to salary cap discussions) do what it takes to close him. Because I think he can be an elite S, which obviously we need badly.
What are you even trying to prove right now?I bet you were saying the same thing last year at this time … and we had an extremely productive group.
They don’t rotate receivers man. The receiving group for next year is already bigger. They are fine. What are you even trying to prove right now?
It was still idiotic to have six scholarship receivers this year. When Staley went down a game, we brought in a tight end. If he had been hurt for good, we would have been playing tow receivers and two tight ends.
That’s not ok.
I’m fully aware our receivers had a great year and we got lucky no one got hurt. If it was like the previous year, we would have been playing only twelve personnel.
Football is a contact sport and injuries happen a lot. We got lucky this year that that position stayed healthy.
Not sure why you’re talking about stars and production when I’m talking about numbers for a room. Did you just need to tell that like it actually made a point? Because it makes no sense
