The two bowl games I was hoping for, under the circumstances! (I swiped this from 52 in the baseball forum.)



I don't think we've ever played Illinois or Washington. That would be fun. We already have a future home and away scheduled with Washington (battle of the riverfront stadiums), so I think Illinois may be the ticket. Has anyone seen them play this year?

I was originally hoping for USC or Michigan but I don't think we get that high in the Big 18 pecking order now. Really, anybody but Iowa: tired on hammering them.

Illinois started off really well, but kind of faded as the year went on. Their qb is solid.

But they're a typical big 10 team, big and slow.

My best friend is an Illinois fan. That would be an interesting matchup, but we damn well better win!

I just read that the network and CFP are hyping the threat of the committee leaving Ole Miss out of the playoffs to sell advertising and attract audience for its show tonight.

I didn't say it was a good program; it's just one of their recruiting profiles that they look for in a recruit

Heather Dinich was interviewed about the prospect of dropping Ole Miss and it’s not a matter of whether they would drop completely out as much it is whether they’d drop a couple of spots to lose home field advantage.
