One thing that hasn’t been discussed much is the O-Line.

Almost everyone thought it would be a strength of the team, but they were strikingly average and got dominated against good D-Lines.

We probably return 4/5 starters there. Do we need more talent? Better coaching? Just another year of getting stronger?

It would probably help if we didn’t rotate as much. I know injuries played a role in that but need to find out top 5 and stick to it.

Pendleton was the weak spot on the o-line. Satterwhite is more physically gifted and it would help a ton if the light bulb came on for him and he took the center spot from Pendleton in the Spring. We also had some really young guys playing a lot in Sanders, Perry, and Umarov. All three of those guys are Elarbee recruits and they all did well. I think the o-line is going to take a big step forward next season.

In our P4 games, we ran for 246, 125 (JA was 5 for -8), 131, 264, 143 (JA was 8 for -20), 108 (but 396 passing), 63, 248, and 83.

Struggled against OU and in the second half against Vandy.

Gave up 18 sacks compared to 30 sacks last year. I thought the OL played well. IMO, the scheme also plays a part since we only run between the tackles.

I know it was against weaker comp but I thought the line played better before Sanders started. Once he took over RT it seemed we were missing assignments more from the middle.

I’m truly feeling Tim Banks moves on after signing day.

Heupel just seems too pissed.

Maybe he makes Danny White press the issue.

I honestly don't know how they could retain him at this point.

I know they could, but if CJH is serious about winning big games like he said .......

Jesse Perry was also a much better tackle than guard. For whatever reason.

I've mentioned this more than once....
