Equally as good a prospect as latimerFour-star running back Carsyn Baker has decommitted from Florida.
Heupel calls the plays imo. Maybe not 100% but he's definitely massively involved. He's on the mic constantly. I think Littrell is the reason for most of the changes this year. I've never had a problem with the HC calling plays but Heupel needs to be more CEO.Here is my thing: we have no idea who all is involved in calling plays. I don't think Litrell can do it, but if you don't think he's involved in play design to at least some extent then I don't know why we'd have him on staff. I think that's the idea behind it. If the kitchen is big enough, the more cooks the better the meal.
Happy to be mad. Good point.I am glad so many people are mad about 8-4. The only other coach since Fulmer to last five years was Butch and by the end of year 5, there were so many apathetic fans as Butch stumbled to the worst season in our history. I'm glad Heup has succeeded enough to make so many of us mad about 8-4.
Improve the DL and Teelander is serviceable in pass pro and good in run defense. Everything starts up front. He won’t but Telander has to go. Would be a great G5 linebacker but not SEC. Perlotte, Rouse, Spillman, and White will have more speed. Tennessee lacked speed when players broke away from the DL.
That should make for at least a few night games at NeylandDamnit they’re going to be really good by time they roll into town next year.
The storylines next year:
- Lane Kiffin of LSU returns to Knoxville
- Golesh of Auburn returns to Knoxville
- Arch Manning of UTexas as a junior comes to knoxville
- Tennessee returns to Columbia SC first time since 2022
- Tennessee travels to Vandy to attempt to avenge a most embarrassing loss, potentially against Pavia again.
- Third Saturday of October in Knoxville
