When I lived in Meridian, MS in the mid-'80's, my dad was stationed at the NAS there, State was indeed OM's biggest rival. Not sure why that would have changed.

Yeah my old best friend was from Starkville and a huge state fan......he had some stories and so did his dad about fans fighting for 2 or 3 days after the egg bowl. Those 2 absolutely hate each other and hate losing to each other. I've heard him say that a rebel loss was better than a state win.

We got problems if Golesh ends up with a better staff than Heup. If we are stuck with the same staff or somebody ends up getting promoted then Heup is in trouble.
