You need some great recruiters not just good. We need great. Seen when we have had great coaches who could not recruit. Keep a Chop and get the rest of the staff in the good and good range.

I'd settle for coaches who can teach LBers to fill gaps and DBs how to tackle.

Holy crap. I hope some of you realize what is going on so you see how hilarious this is.

It definitely isn't a 'shots fired' situation.

West is doing all this for free, man. That dude is not paid for engagement. He gets no credit for anything he posts because he's a made up person who's usually wrong on purpose. When he gets things right it's either to launder the idea that he's at all attempting to be legit, or it's by total accident which is probably far funnier to this guy. I respect the game, man. I really do. I'm far too lazy to do anything that takes that much effort.

Wes Rucker annoys me to no end but the fact that people are siding with a troll/literal fake news account over an established reporter with like 20 years of experience covering the Vols is sad. Twitter brain rot is real. Plus, wasn't he briefly unable to walk/stand for the anthem because he had a stroke?

Yes. He's going to be more willing to give assistants an opportunity to fix things because he wasn't giving that opportunity (he was also scapegoated when his offense was actually pretty darn good that year).

But I also dont think that means he will never fire someone. In fact we've seen guys move on that weren't cutting it, and I think those were de facto firings but allowed them to save face.

Great hire. Don’t know what all went down when he got fire for harassment and whatnot in the locker room. Pretty sure he settled his lawsuit on that.
