I’m in construction and have been for 35 years. Have built and sold 2 separate businesses. The legal immigrates way out preform the natural born citizens. Your ignorance is trying to strap me with the **** hole stupid workers born here.

My significant other worked for a very large construction firm, so what?

Let's say its true, so what? You can either develop talent or not, its called competing. Every industry could say the same thing.

I would suggest you might want to head south because apparently that is where they have everything figured out.

Enforcement's part of it. There's still a need to update the quotas and / or cut government freebies to motivate people to take the jobs that are apparently going begging.

If allowing a bunch of illegals in here from **** hole countries was so great, apparently there should be very few complaints in this forum.... simple observation here. Another observation as the more people that have come from **** hole countries seems to equal some sort of even amount of absence of labor. (rinse and repeat) Just allow 10 million more in and all of your wildest dreams will come true. 😂

If this makes a place so great, why would anyone leave Mexico... .apparently that is where all the good workers are.

Actually, quite the opposite. I'm sure the country is filled with Starbuck baristas with $300,000 of student loans but we're not going to solve all those issues. We're not going to solve all the problems especially in one go, we can potentially solve one problem which is not necessarily easy.

My point is, if legal or illegal immigration solved labor shortages, why does a shortage here exist? Its not from a shortage of illegal or legal immigration. That's the lie, we just need more.

What a stupid question. We have to fix what YOUR PARTY broke first. Then fix the immigration methodology. But @Orangeslice13 nailed it. NEITHER party wants to fix it. But the Democrats are the ones that opened the floodgates. That has to be remedied first before anything else.

We don’t have a shortage.
We have plenty of illegals doing quality work because they couldn’t come here legally. (I don’t hire them but plenty have too) that’s a real problem because there’s no control as to who gets in. We should keep criminals out but allow qualified people in. Especially if they’re sponsored and have work waiting
Like I said over and over. It’s more complicated that “close the borders “. We absolutely should control immigration. Too bad neither side has a working plan to fix it

There is plenty of potential labor here as there is a huge population, if the population refuses to produce well.... nothing illegals are going to do to help. To be honest, the quality of illegals and legals have gone down just the same as everyone else.
