If Virginia and Tulane win their respective CG, they're conference champions #3 & #4 in the playoffs. If BYU beats TT in the rematch, they would be in, but TT is currently ranked #5, so I don't think they fall out with a loss. I think in that scenario, Big 12 gets 2 teams in. But BYU is definitely out with a loss.

Also think if Bama loses in the SEC CG, they'll be out.

Baker
Durkin

Thoughts on Muschamp?
I would take either one of those 3 every day of the week and twice on Saturday over Tim Banks! I guarantee our defense would at least play physical and be the aggressor instead of this soft trash we currently see.

He said his biggest regret was leaving Tennessee. This might be an even bigger one down the road. Dude has it made at Ole Miss. We loved him here his one season (even though it was kind of a trash season). Like sometimes dude you just have to know what you have. But bro lacks maturity
Lacks maturity AT 50!

The amount of people on X wanting Matthews to leave is honestly astounding.

I’m glad none of them have any input on our team. Sure the kid has been frustrating this season, but to say you want a 800+ yard receiver to leave is honestly borderline retarded.
Please no! Dude is physical which is something we lack on this team. We need more dudes who want to hit the other team and punish them. He and Staley are a great duo to have back as the nucleus of that room.

Bunch of idiots. I hope he isn't seeing that.

I think he's a decent young wr, but the young excuse really falls apart when youre getting paid grown man money. Hes getting paid to make those catches and hes had a few drops this season. I think his ceiling is very high, however, catch the ****** ball.

It was a gut punch but Vanderbilt was good this year. I think in this era we are going to have to think differently. Sign fewer high school players and get more grown men from the portal. Huge difference between a 19 year old and a 23 year old. Also, no guarantee they are even around after you develop them.
A buddy of mine said TTU is having success because their roster is somewhere in the $22-25 million range (not sure how accurate that is) but I do know OSU’s last year was around $20 million and look what it got them. So my question: what’s ours at? Because on the defensive side, it appeared to be around the $500k range.

Danny White is a good AD, he’s not gonna emotionally react and do that. Mullen was also being super lazy on recruiting. Our current class is incredible. Now if he just manages 8-4 next year we can START the questioning of him. Realistically I think we’d have to go the entire Faizon era missing playoffs for it to make sense to look a different direction
8-4 is probably a realistic truth for next year with the schedule we have

They won't have a recruiting class by the time he's done, 😂
But he’s a changed man. The only thing different about Kiffin is he’s better at creating a false image. He’s a snake 🐍. Same piece of garbage he was when he left here in the middle of the night. A perfect fit for LSU.

Days of Our Lives football coach searches. Whatever. All I care about is the Vols.

DW can forget adding 30 K seats to Neyland with the product he has on that field. He can forget about his favorite thing, soaking this fanbase for more money.

Crossroads time.

Heup stood in that presser chomping gum looking like a bum. How in the world can he expect players to be disciplined and meet the "high expectations" of the program and university that he constantly talks about when he doesn't? He looks like a walking heart attack about to happen. He is blowing a great opportunity to be a legend of the game at UT and in CFB. Have some personal pride and make the positive changes in yourself and the program.

Punk Pavia called the Vols out preseason and he was right. AT VANDY. Ridiculous.

We do not need an OC first, HC second. We need Heup to be a real HC. Hire a real OC, a top DC, proven assistants including S&C. Retain the best, can the rest.. If they do Heup can turn this around and it can be a sport like everything else associated with the Vols already are. They have talent with more coming in - better talent than 10-2 Vandy and 10-2 Oklahoma as examples.

Heup/team caught lightning in a bottle one year. The rest has been B grade. Time to turn the corner or the Vols will be in the cast as characters in Days of Our Lives in a year or two. I do not want to go through a lost decade again.

Let’s say Kiffin really is threatening to poach players if he doesn’t coach the playoffs. What, so he ISN’T going to poach players if he coaches the playoffs? Of course he will! Call that bluff every day. He wants his cake and eat it too. Send him packing. Your fault for hiring him anyways. He can be LSU’s next failure.
