Who’s gonna manage clock/call timeouts?

Will there be anything left for Heupel at that point? Maybe just give him a BK crown and tell him it’s a headset so he thinks he’s still doing something?

If someone can photoshop that shot for me I’d greatly appreciate it.

I’m of the opinion that Heupel struggles with managing clock because he’s focused on the play calls, which causes him to lose sight of the big picture at times

Why would Dan Mullen leave UNLV to go be an OC when he is very likely going to get serious head coaching offers at other SEC/Big10 openings?

He wouldn’t. I didn’t know he was at UNLV. Point is we need an experienced play caller to take over so Heupel can focus on the bigger picture.

I’ll never root for those 2 morons! Will be the end of me if they become Vols.

I’ve gave up on NFL and MLB, the Vols is all I have left. Hate to give up on them by hiring more morons. Pruitt was a hard pill to swallow and I won’t do it again.

If the D had managed 2 maybe 3 stops out of, what 9, where'd this game be?

It’s really Heupel’s offense so I don’t think he’ll ever bring in a big name…I wish he would adjust his mentality and have his offensive players more focused on winning each play vs trying to win the game each play…the way we used the short passes mixed in with the runs vs Florida in the first half was a thing of beauty and led to a 31 point half…tonight we were 1-4 on long throws…yea, we got 1 TD but we also stopped our own drives twice…twice we went three and out in large part because we wasted a down a very low percentage long ball…

Obviously the offense is good but Heupel hasn’t managed the clock well and needs to be in a position to provide oversight when defense is abysmal. He hasn’t shown that he can do those things well and call plays. Thats why most HCs don’t call plays, including offensive geniuses like Lane Kiffin.
